Role & Responsibilities
· In consultation with the VP Operations and the Corporate team:
– Continuously position each residence for optimal occupancy, optimize revenue and NOI by determining the right mix of Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care based on changing local trends, competition and market need in each market.
- Support the management teams in achieving occupancy and financial targets monthly
- Ensures effective utilization and control of financial resources.
- Ensuring through the budget process fiscal planning both short and long range.
- Ensuring provision of appropriate financial information, direction, and timely reporting to Executive Director to enable them to administer and control their respective budgets.
- Reviewing home financial reports on a regular basis and working closely with controller and Executive Director in analyzing variances to budget and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Provides guidance to Executive Directors in planning, formulating, and implementing strategies, policies and objectives that supports successfully meeting business goals.
- Assists Executive Director through the goal setting and performance review process in the identification of collective and individual goals and developmental needs. Implements programs to meet those needs utilizing corporate and/or external resources as necessary.
- Monitor and report on KPI’s support the teams to maximize utilization of the a la carte services and care packages.
- Support sales and leasing strategies
- Ensure the brand standards are maintained at each residence for prospect, resident and team member experience at all times
- Develop and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Provide ongoing education, mentorship and coaching to management teams
- Meet KPI criteria in Employee Engagement and Resident Satisfaction
- Reduce and monitor risk to the homes with adherence to compliance standards.
- Coordinate regular team meetings with projected outcomes
· Collaborate in the annual operating and capital budgets
- Support the hiring and onboarding of new leaders
- Completes all other duties as assigned by their Leader which may include involvement in special projects, analysis, etc.
Qualifications
5 years experience in senior living
Fluent in English and in French in verbal and written communication
University degree or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated business acumen
